SHANE LOEFFLER | HEAD MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH

 

Shane Loeffler joined the Swarthmore College Men's Basketball staff as an assistant coach at the beginning of the 2017-18 season. He was named associate head coach in 2020-21. A 2016 graduate of Swarthmore College with a degree in political science, Loeffler played point guard for four seasons with the Garnet. A team captain his senior season, Loeffler helped lead the team to a then program best 22-8 record and an appearance in the Centennial Conference Championship game. Off the court, Loeffler was recognized as a three-time member of the Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll.

Upon graduation, Loeffler took an assistant coaching position at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia for the 2016-17 season. He has also interned with Temple University Men's Basketball and coached and instructed at a number of different basketball camps and clinics.
